My mom taught me to plant seeds when I was young, and I’ve been tending to gardens ever since.
That early connection to soil taught me something fundamental: with care, attention, and the right conditions, even the smallest seed can grow into something beautiful and nourishing.
I believe the same is true of people — tending to the inner landscape creates health, resilience, and beauty.

~ My Journey ~
The human body has always fascinated me. I was a competitive athlete and then active in yoga. My workouts and practice reinforced for me how adaptable bodies are… I became faster, stronger and more flexible. A few years after graduating from college with a degree in Recreational therapy I decided to learn more about human anatomy. I earned my massage license in 1991 from the Brian Utting School of Massage in Seattle. Since then, I've supported clients on their healing journeys, learning ho to work effectively on different types of bodies.
I’ve always been inspired to grow my own food and be self-sufficient. (I’m a bit of a health nut) In 2000 I enrolled in a horticulture program and found myself tending many gardens professionally. I was massaging and working in gardens for decades and taking my physical health for granted. I was young and healthy when I began both massaging and landscaping.
Now I’m a truly middle aged, seasoned woman who has experienced a few significant injuries, a few significant losses, compensation patterns, setbacks and an older body. I had some discouraging times after a life changing injury and after a sudden loss of a loved one.
All of the twists and turns in life have inspired me to learn more, look deeper, and work more gently. I’ve learned resilience. At this stage I have also learned some wisdom for tending to my own body and working with others. I’m hoping to age gracefully and graciously.
I am committed to feeling good in my body as long as I can and if you feel the same way and are interested in trying something new, come join me in a class or in an individual session. I’m excited to share what I have learned and look forward to learning from you.
